Topic: Worker Participation: How To Motivate Your team and Engage Employees In Safety.

Are you a leader who is trying to drive safety culture but finding it hard to motivate and engage employees? Are you under-resourced and over-tasked? Do you feel siloed in your department? In this session, you’ll learn several strategies to motivate workers, increase engagement, and get the workforce working WITH you for safety. You will learn techniques that you can implement today to boost engagement, reduce risk, and bolster positive recognition for you and your team.

Presenter: Dr. Colin Brown

Dr.  Brown is a safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) professional and educator with industry experience in manufacturing, metals recycling, healthcare, and academia. Colin serves as the Senior Manager of Professional Development at the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). He earned Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. degrees in occupational safety and industrial hygiene. Colin is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and a Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT).
