ASSP Greater Calumet Chapter Recognized – Bronze Level for 2017-2018

Posted: Sep 25, 2018

ASSP Greater Calumet Chapter has recently recognized by the ASSP National Office for their achievement.

The ASSP Greater Calumet Chapter has achieved the Bronze level of Chapter Recognition for the 2017-2018 chapter year!  This status is based from the information the chapter submitted in the Chapter Operations Management Tool (COMT) of 6/30/2018.

The work that goes into achieving this level of success is a true testament of our drive to benefit the chapter members and the safety profession as a whole.

Proposed Amendments to Chapter Bylaws

Posted: Jan 23, 2018

This past August, ASSE members made the historic decision to change the organization’s name to the American Society of Safety Professionals.

ASSE members voted to amend Society bylaws to reflect the new name. As a separately incorporated entity, our chapter needs to hold a separate chapter member vote to change the name in our bylaws, as well.

To learn more about these proposed changes:

We will hold a member vote on these proposed changes at an upcoming meeting of the chapter.
